Generali Hong Kong Appoints Interim CEO and GM

HONG KONG - Generali announces that Cillin O’Flynn has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of Generali Life (Hong Kong) Limited (“Generali Life”) and General Manager of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A – Hong Kong Branch (“Generali Hong Kong Branch”), effective on 8 July 2021.


Generali will begin the selection and recruitment process for a new Chief Executive Officer and General Manager. During this period, Arsh Kaumi, Chief Financial Officer of Generali Hong Kong1, is appointed ad interim as Chief Executive Officer of Generali Life, and David Fontaine, Chief Insurance Officer of Hong Kong Branch, is appointed ad interim as Generali Manager of Generali Hong Kong Branch. Arsh and David will also maintain their current roles.

He has been with Generali since 2010 in several senior positions in Ireland, United Arab Emirates and Italy, joining Hong Kong operations in 2017 and was a key driver in moving Generali Hong Kong forward across all aspects of the business in alignment to the Generali Group Strategy."
